Love that weathers the storm…

THE HOME OF TAYLOR K. SCOTT

Welcome to my website where I wish to give you a glimpse into my storytelling world.  I hope to entertain readers with tales that have you falling in love with the characters, enjoying the twists and turns they face through life, and all with a little bit of comedy, lots of romance, and plenty of angst!

If you enjoy reading romance stories that are plot-driven with well-rounded characters (yes, even the ‘villains’), then my books are directed at you.

I want to write books that I would love to read myself, and being the kind of reader I am, this means I refuse to stick to the status quo of popular tropes, nor do I restrict myself to one category of romance writing. Romance is all about drama, connections, plus a little bit of fantasy.

Be warned, I will tackle uncomfortable issues and I write characters who are flawed, but this is what makes them so relatable.

ABOUT ME

In reality, I live a bit of a crazy life with my husband and two daughters, who always keep me smiling. When I’m not running around being a wife, mother, and school teacher, my nose is usually inside of a book or lost behind a screen, typing away at my newest story.  I love a bit of choccy, a good glass of wine, and getting lost in music which often gives me the inspiration for my writing.

ABOUT MY WRITING

I do love a good story, one which will keep me reading until the early hours of the morning, with the promise of just one more page.  I have fallen in love with a number of great authors who have inspired me to begin writing myself.  Ever since I decided to put pen to paper, I have become a little addicted and finally decided to put my work out there for others to hopefully enjoy.  My goal is to make you drift away from reality, and to fall in love with the characters, even if they are hopelessly flawed!
